Delivery Costs

The complexity of dealing with every permutation of transport and package sizes, means we must ask those choosing to send goods to the more exotic parts of the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World, accept that the carriage costs are only an estimate and to wait for us to contact you with a quote for your order. You can then decide if you wish to proceed with the order at which point we will then refund or adjust the purchase total .

Delivery to addresses in the U.K

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit. Before signing for goods always check the packaging for damage. Do not sign for damaged goods as you are signing goods received in good condition. If there is obvious damage ask for the goods to be returned to ourselves and refuse to accept them.

Goods are normally despatched by post for smaller items and courier for larger items.Items exceeding 60cms  in length cannot be sent by GPO and we will contact you with an alternative method and cost. For next day delivery items orders must be received before noon, however it may be possible to despatch for next day delivery after this time if you contact us by phone. Once the goods are handed to postal systems or couriers, we are dependant on circumstance beyond the carriers control.

Please note that Carriers do not class Saturday as a normal working  day and is more expensive than Standard Next Day delivery. If required please contact us as this must be prearranged with us at least 24 hours beforehand.

All non offer goods valued over £150.00 and under 1.40cm in length are despatched free of charge to addresses within mainland UK.  For deliveries of goods over 1.40cm in length to the UK mainland or for deliveries to  N Ireland,Isle of Man, Channel Isles , Highlands and Islands , we will contact you with a quote for delivery .  Should there be any delay in despatching your order, we will of course inform you.

Delivery to addresses outside the U.K.

Cost of delivery to addresses outside the U.K.  is dependant upon diameter, length and volume of consignment and so individual quotations are provided. Normal delivery services within EUROPE countries are from 5-10 working days. Similar criteria apply to other destinations and individual quotes for delivery are provided.

For deliveries outside the EEC if you are logged on with an address in your country prices shown will be ex VAT. Delivery costs vary according to the size of package and destination. They can be sent via Royal Mail International Signed for, Air or Road Freight depending on the destination and size/volume of the parcel. If you have placed an order we will contact you with shipping quotes or you can call or email for advice or quote on sending you your goods and costs before placing an order.

Be Aware. !!!!!

Deleiveries are sent DAP ( Delivered At Place)  and the cost of delivery does not include any duty or import tax that may be payable in your country . You should check out your countries policy regarding  this on their website. Duty normally depends on the type of product being imported and the value . Sometimes there is no duty on items under a certain limit .It does vary widely however Country by Country. Items under £150 may not attract vat or duty but this depemnds on how your countries rules.

Cancellation Policy

When you place an order through our website, you can cancel your order at any time before the goods are despatched. The full costs of the goods and the delivery charge will be refunded. If your order has been despatched, then please see our returns policy below. For all cancellations and returns, please contact us with full details, including your order number contained in your Order Acknowledgement email as soon as possible.

Returns

Surfstore has a no quibble returns policy. Any goods purchased from Surfstore can be returned unused within 30 days for refund or exchange. All returns must have the following information enclosed with the goods.

Customers Name
Customers Address
Contact telephone number
Reason for return
Order number or invoice number.

We regret we cannot refund carriage on goods incorrectly ordered.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition (with packaging and tags intact) within 30 days of the purchase date. We will either exchange the item, issue a full refund. Please call 01740 631875 or email sales@surfstore.co.uk to receive returns authorisation. Please note that if goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them, we reserve the right to refuse such returns.

Any item returned to us is at your own risk and cost. Please note that we will not be liable for any loss or damage to any returned items in transit and products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them. If returned items are lost or damaged in transit, we will have to charge you (or not to refund any amounts attributable to) such loss or damage. Please send any item(s) you intend to return in the original packaging if possible.

The refund would be arranged within 7 days after we have received the goods, less insurance, freight costs, and subject to inspection as to their suitability for resale. Customers based outside the EU will also be responsible for any custom charges that might be charged when returning goods.

IMPORTANT

Upon delivery please check all items have not been damaged in transit before you sign for them. If any damage is visible, please ensure you sign as "Damaged" and you are with your rights to refuse and ask that they are returned to the sender. If you cannot thoroughly check the goods please sign for as ‘unchecked’.

It is your duty to inspect and confirm that the goods are in good condition before signing. If the goods are damaged and not signed for as such, Surfstore cannot accept any liability and the item will not be replaced or reimbursed.
