Tushingham and Starboard UK are now launching a monthly themed Ask the Experts session. These are based on the live chat events held on the Boards Mpora website but with the opportunity for more in depth questions to be submitted with the potential to use different types of media (text, video or pictures) to answer the questions posted by you.
In the first of their monthly ask the expert sessions they will be focussing on the topic of sail design. With over 30 years of experiencing in producing championship winning sails they have a huge breadth of knowledge available to answer any question you may have regarding sail design, from the materials used, panel layout, construction process to the aesthetic design. If you have a question you have been dying to ask then fill out the form on the Tushingham website which can be found HERE. and they will respond to your question during the month and post the answer on the page for all to see.
At the end of each month Tushingham / Starboard UK will send out a summary email of the questions answered during the period to everyone who has signed up to the newsletter and those who have posted questions. If you don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity to gain insider knowledge of windsurfing and SUP industries then either submit a question or sign up to their newsletter.

SUP “ask the experts”
SUP -your questions answered by a panel of experts!!
Starboard SUP UK and Red Paddle Co are now launching a monthly themed ‘Ask the Experts session’. This provides you with the opportunity to ask a panel of experts in depth questions to be submitted on a variety of subjects.
In the first of their monthly ask the expert sessions they will be focussing on the topic of paddle selection. The team have been involved in the sport since its raise to fame both globally and more recently in the UK with their head of SUP John Hibbard competing in both surf and race disciplines in the UK and internationally with great success. Alongside him is a raft of team riders and gurus who have all the knowledge necessary to answer your questions. Cool Slaps for summer . The only footwear you need. Superbly comfortable. The latest news from the manufacturer is that 2012 stock is due at the end of April. Hopefully just in time for the warmer weather, so all sizes will be available again!

Open Water Swimming
The ‘Open Water Swimming ‘ season is approaching and as we have had many requests and enquiries from Triathletes and ‘Open Water Swimmers’ to use the lake for training, we are are happy to accomodate them. The Lake opens for Swimming, May 1st – 30th September, available :
Mon 9-5pm
Tues 9-7.30pm
Wed-Friday 9-5pm
Sat. 9-2.00pm
Sundays and Bank Holidays Closed.
Wetsuits and hats must be worn, with a minimum of two people swimming together. Showers and changing are available, and the charge is £4.00 per swim.

Christmas & New Year Opening Times
Surfstore will be open for business as usual until 1pm on Friday the 23rd of December and will re-open again on Tuesday the 3rd of January. You can continue to order from our website as normal, but please bear in mind orders will not be shipped until the 3rd of January.
During this period you can expect a limited service, as we will be doing on-site stock taking ready for the new year. We will answer e-mails but not calls. For this reason if you have any queries whatsoever please contact us by e-mail – sales@surfstore.co.uk
