Delivery Costs

The complexity of setting up a website to deal with every permutation of transport and package sizes, means we must ask those choosing to send goods to the more exotic parts of the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World, accept that the carriage costs are only an estimate and to wait for us to contact you with a quote for your order. You can then decide if you wish to proceed with the order at which point we will then refund or adjust the purchase total .

Delivery to addresses in the U.K

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit. Before signing for goods always check the packaging for damage. Do not sign for damaged goods as you are signing goods received in good condition. If there is obvious damage ask for the goods to be returned to ourselves and refuse to accept them.

Goods are normally despatched on the day of ordering, by the method you have chosen. However items exceeding 1.5 mts in length cannot be sent by GPO and we will contact you with an alternative method and cost.

All non offer goods valued over £150.00 are despached free of charge within the UK(except N Ireland,Isle of Man, Channel Isles and Highlands and Islands) and delivered within 2-3 days. If you have chosen a different delivery option or live outside the UK then the equivalent amount will be deducted from your invoice total. Should there be any delay in despaching your order, we will of course inform you.

Delivery to addresses outside the U.K.

Cost of delivery to addresses outside the U.K. over 2kg packed weight is dependant upon diameter, length and volume of consignment and so individual quotations are provided. Normal delivery services within E.E.C countries are from 2- 5 working days . Similar criteria apply to other destinations and individual quotes for delivery are provided.

For deliveries outside the EEC we can offer the goods V.A.T free. At 12/11/2012 this is 20% added to the ex vat price . So to calculate the ex vat price divide the total by 1.2 . Delivery costs vary according to the size of package and destination. They can be sent via Royal Mail International Signed for, Air or Road Freight depending on the destination. If you have placed an order we will contact you with shipping quotes or you can call, fax or email for advice or quote on sending you your goods and costs before placing an order.

The cost of delivery does not include any duty that may be payable in your country . You should check out your countries policy on this on their website. Duty normally depends on the type of product being imported and the value . Sometimes there is no duty on items under a certain limit .It does vary widely however Country by Country.

Cancellation Policy

When you place an order through our website, you can cancel your order at any time before the goods are despatched. The full costs of the goods and the delivery charge will be refunded. If your order has been despatched, then please see our returns policy below.

For all cancellations and returns, please contact us with full details, including your order number contained in your Order Acknowledgement email as soon as possible.


Surfstore has a no quibble returns policy.

Any goods purchased from Surfstore can be returned unused within 30 days for refund or exchange.

All returns must have the following information enclosed with the goods.

Customers Name
Customers Address
Contact telephone number
Reason for return
Order number or invoice number.

We regret we cannot refund carriage on goods incorrectly ordered.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition (with packaging and tags intact) within 30 days of the purchase date. Please note that if goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them, we reserve the right to refuse such returns.

Any item returned to us is at your own risk and cost. Please note that we will not be liable for any loss or damage to any returned items in transit and products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them. If returned items are lost or damaged in transit, we will have to charge you (or not to refund any amounts attributable to) such loss or damage. Please send any item(s) you intend to return in the original packaging.

The refund would be arranged within 7 days after we have received the goods, less insurance, freight costs, and subject to inspection as to there suitability for resale. Customers based outside the EU will also be responsible for any custom charges that might be charged when returning goods.


Upon delivery please check all items have not been damaged in transit before you sign for them. If any damage is visible, please ensure you sign as "Damaged" and you are with your rights to refuse and ask that they are returned to the sender. If you cannot thoroughly check the goods please sign for as ‘unchecked’.

It is your duty to inspect and confirm that the goods are in good condition before signing. If the goods are damaged and not signed for as such, Surfstore cannot accept any liability and the item will not be replaced or reimbursed.
