No-CAM Freerace
Major advances in our race sail technology have been incorporated into this year's NCX. The test-winning formula of the NCX draws together blistering speed, immediate response and unrivalled acceleration totally uncharacteristic for a no cam sail. Light and direct, this higher tension sail allows the rider to maintain a comfortable stance through gusts, chop and wind shifts to provide a huge performance advantage and a wide wind range. The harder and faster you push the NCX, the further away its boundaries become.
For 2011, many of the race sail developments have been implemented into the design. Speed and wind range have been drastically increased through a more connected leech, refined skin tension and optimal luff curves. 2011 NCX's feature a tighter skin tension for increased stability and reduced rig movement over chop.
The 2011 NCXs' colourways are shown in the main pictures in the main images above.
Sail Dynamics
Upright stance, drives off the fin for increased speed potential.
A fast, high performance rig without cams, suited to all freeride and freerace boards.

If you want the next level up from this allready superior freerace sail you'll be considering the NCX Pro. Read on to understand the Pro ethics.
Built on the same NCX platform and receiving the same 2011 race programming, the NCX Pro utilizes up-graded material specs to supercharge its performance. Upper body sections feature e4 laminate material to reduce overall weight, cut swing weight and provide a smoother ride. The NCX Pro is designed for the most discerning freeride customers looking for that extra edge. The last picture above is the NCX Pro.

The NCX is host to some of the most design friendly features making it one of the easiest to rig - a welcome addidion to any quiver.
Dual Clew Positions
Allows the rider to fine tune the rig to his requirements. The higher eyelet assists the rider in hanging off the rig, which is favoured by freestyle riders and many new school wave riders. The lower eyelet position favours shorter riders and allows you to drive more power through the board. In racing rigs, the dual eyelets facilitate different rider heights as well as allowing more control over the leech tension by changing the clew position. Shown below.

Dropped Clew
Reduces boom length improving manoeuvrability, mechanical foil stability and increases the stiffness when using aluminium booms on larger sails. Explained Below.

Stabilizer Panel
Designed to hold the 3D shaping of this critical area, reducing the vertical stretch of the sail and producing a more stable foil shape when the sail is under load.

Aramid Torsion Frame
A Kevlar perimeter for maximum strength. Shown below.

Seamless Foot Construction
A single panel in the foot area with Pro-tect hidden load patches eliminates seam abrasion and seam creep in this high load area.

The 2011 NCX comes in 7 sizes. The specifications are shown below
