Freestyle Wave - X Tech V2
The new Freestyle Wave V2 represent the perfect mix of manouverability, speed, and riding comfort. No other shape in the collection is so difficult yet rewarding in the making. The new FSW V2 looks more like a wave board than ever before, but hase improved in top speed and early planning like no other boards in the range. The freestyle wave V2 perfectly represents the true DNA of the company.
Features
We introduced a new hull design with a full V, without any deep concaves and just minor concaves in the middle just to make sure the V is a really flat V when the board comes out of the mould. We introduced a new rocker line, a little bit higher in the front and straighter in the middle point between the front foot and the back foot strap. This allows the boards to feel more like wave boards and perform like a real freestyle boards. The feeling as soon as you touch the board is like having a really small and compact wave board but at the same time the planing capacity increased compared to last year. Outlines are completely new with narrower tails and noses. We redesigned a proper volume distribution with the latest tendency of shape design, and we reduced fin sizes quite significantly: 1 cm on all the sizes, except the small size. A shorter and more compact feel for 2010 to guarantee more top end performance.
