The Freeride fin features a gently raked blade outline with focus on optimizing speed without losing gybing characteristics. Carbon reinforced base for strength and reduced flex in the base area, flexible tip to ensure the fin is forgiving and controllable.

The RTM process offers far greater control and optimization of the mechanical properties of the fin. Twist and flex can be controlled by varying the material type, weave direction and material positioning. This allows a stiffer base and varies the twist of the tip or trailing edge to optimize the performance.
In the development process work with pro riders helps optimize the foil and outline of the fin from computer cut prototypes. Once a model is satisfactory the RTM mould is made and various materials researched to optimize the required performance.
