1.1 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to be aware of any changes and read the terms and conditions each time you use the site. Continued use of the site denotes your acceptance of the latest terms and conditions.
1.2 When registering your details on www.surfstore.co.uk, you must provide accurate and up to date information. All password details are non transferable and we reserve the right to withdraw your login at any time. You must inform us immediately if you become aware of any misuse of your details.
1.3 These terms and conditions only cover the surfstore.co.uk website. Any other websites to which you link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. Different terms, including prices, delivery charges, delivery times and returns policies, may apply to purchases made directly in person or via mail order.
1.4 We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
2. Price and Payment Terms
2.1 Orders are charged by the total order weight but we reserve the right to charge for costs for any special delivery requirements. Other delivery areas pricing available by request.
2.2 The price displayed is in UK sterling and includes VAT which will is applied at the current rate at the time of the order being placed.
2.3 Payment for goods constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions outlined in this document. We accept most major UK credit and debit cards. If your payment is refused we will email you to either offer an alternative method of payment or to inform you of the cancellation of your order.
2.4 Goods remain the property of surfstore.co.uk until payment is received in full. Title to products that you have ordered on our website will pass to you on receipt of the goods, provided that full payment has been received.
2.5 The email sent to you on receipt of your order does not constitute our acceptance of your order. The despatch of goods confirms our acceptance of your order and signifies the creation of the contract between us. We reserve the right not to accept your order and should this decision be made we will inform you by email. You also have the right to cancel your order before despatch. If you ask to cancel your order once it has been despatched it will be treated as a return (see ‘Returns’).
2.6 If we become aware of an error in pricing or description before your goods are despatched, we will give you the option to confirm or cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.
2.7 The supply of goods is subject to availability, if for any reason we are unable to supply ordered goods we will inform you by email and may offer a substitute of equal or higher value. In the event of us not receiving a response within 4 weeks regarding an error in pricing or description, availability or substitution of a product, then we will cancel the order .If no appropriate substitute is available or if you choose not to accept the alternative product we will refund the amount within 30 days.
2.8 We strongly recommend that you print a copy of your order acknowledgement email and these terms and conditions.
3.1 All delivery times quoted are an estimate. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
3.2 We may deliver the goods as part deliveries.
3.3 If you refuse delivery of the goods we may charge you for the cost of the delivery and storage. If you do not accept delivery of the goods within 24 days, we will treat this as cancellation of the contract and may sell them to a third party.
3.4 Acceptance of delivery of goods constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions outlined in this document
3.5 You must inspect goods on delivery. Occasionally delivery companies may damage goods in transit and if you have concerns regarding the condition of the parcel, then either:
- refuse the delivery and send it back. - accept the delivery and write "damaged" on the docket. - make the driver wait while you unwrap and inspect the item before signing.
Unfortunately, unless you follow these guidelines, it is not possible to claim for damaged goods.
3.6 On receipt of goods or from the first attempted delivery, they become your responsibility and as such any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.
4.1 We offer a 14 day money back policy. Certain items may be subject to restrictions which will be detailed in the description.
4.2 If you wish to return any items purchased from us you must give us written notice within 7 days of receipt
4.2 The goods must then be returned to us at your cost in their original packaging and in good condition within 10 days of receipt.
4.3 We reserve the right to charge a handling fee on returned goods.
4.4 Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 30 days of the goods being received by us, less any applicable postage, packing and handling charges. Whilst we endeavour to supply accurate information in relation to products offered for sale, information on dimensions, weights and colours are approximate.
5.1 We and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available only for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. In addition, you must not create links to this site without our prior consent or restrict the use of it by anyone else.
