What we liked about it
DVD:
Firstly lots to choose from which is always a good thing and quality action to boot! It was nice to see windsurfing from Japan and Indonesia as well as the usual haunts in Maui and Australia . The Cape Verde section is also outstanding but then you can’t really mess up the footage from that recent PWA event – it was awesome from any angle!
BOOK:
We loved the book! It is unusual to see a windsurfing book with action and lifestyle shots and clearly having a woman behind the lense made a difference. You really get a feel for the windsurfing lifestyle even if you are a touch jealous as you browse through the book in your office break!
Majority of action is from the male variety of windsurfer but the Morenos and Anne Marie Reichmann also feature.
Best bits
Cape Verde section and Laird Hamilton getting wiped out on a stand-up paddle in the BONUS section.
Bonus Section
This includes footage from previous events at Hookipa Beach Park circa 2005 as well as the customary wipe-out section.
