RED SDM is the universal NorthSails mast line representing excellent value for money. Now also manufactured using AEROSPACE.PREPREG.TECHNOLOGY. A 35% carbon content guarantees balanced power and high-level durability. The RED line is compatible with many sail brands,that make it the ideal all-rounder. The base section comes with white polyamide coating to prevent scratching, abrasion and thermal overstress.
Available in: 400, 430, 460 and 490.
RED RDM - Standard Diameter 32 mm
The long-awaited RDM mast at a favourable price. Now also manufactured using AEROSPACE.PREPREG.TECHNOLOGY with 35% carbon content. This will give you a solid performance and is compatible with many sail brands. The base section comes with white polyamide coating to prevent scratching, abrasion and thermal overstress.
Available in: 370, 400 and 430.
The 2012 Red Series comes as shown in the main picture above. Please note the Red does not come with a bag or RDM adapter.
The mast program in 2012 comes up with new detail and quality improvements, particularly regarding the refined bend curves and increased breakage strength. This is only possible through the implementation of an electronically-controlled mast test device which supplies more precise measurements than previous analog equipment.
