Fanatic Stubby TE 2017

The Fanatic Stubby represents the benchmark new style of windsurf shapes. Radical looking yet super easy to use, it surprises with speed, planing stability and a different sensation in the waves. The line of 77 and 88 has been extended to the floaty Stubby TE 99.Fanatic introduced this exciting parallel rail concept with its super compact length into the windsurfing world in early 2015. Everything is easy on the Stubby; speed and early planing, control and slashy turns. Its characteristics open up the potential to learn all of the latest moves, and with a new sensation for almost every style of wave conditions it has an incredibly wide range of use.
STUBBY VS. TRIWAVE & QUAD
The Stubby comes with a different feel to the other two Fanatic Wave- boards. Its planing capabilities are not far off the TriWave and with a more back footed style it also rides closer to the TriWave than the Quad, which rides more front footed. However, its super wide tail means that they Stubby has a totally different way of turning compared to the TriWave. If you’re happy with a classic ride and want the next step up from your FreeWave, the TriWave with its classic outline and incredible jumping potential is a top choice for you. If you’re looking for progression and something to spice up your wave riding with a different style, the Stubby will be a bundle of pure joy for you!

nb:weight tolerances of + - 6% possible. STUBBY TE 77, WINDMAG 390 04_2015 “...The overall effectiveness is excellent, the carving power is amazing and the ability to turn hallucinatory. Classic boards are still good in comparison but most of the time the Stubby still has something more to offer: Incredible short turns, a crazy reactiveness, great carving power at medium speed, and early planing. The Stubby is a board that might radicalize every windsurfer’s style on a medium to expert level – and after all that’s why we windsurf!...”

STUBBY TE 88, WINDSURF UK 10/2016 "The Verdict: Fast, stable and a true weapon at punching upwind, the Stubby marries real world practicality with a level of wave riding versatility that will flatter any style. Setting the benchmark for this new style of wave-board, it is clear that the Stubby is the final product of lots of R&D."
