Cabrinha 2011

It is that time of year again, where the UK agents are showcasing the 2011 gear, and today we had a visit of Chris from Cabrinha. He brought with him plenty of toys for us to lust over, including the new 2011 twin tip range, 13m Switchblade and the new Race board and Surf boards. Take a look!

This slick looking board is for all the ladies out there!

For all those wave riders out there, take a look at the new range of surfboards that will soon be availible from Cabrinha.
North up North!
North Kitesurfing’s UK agent Callum took a trip all the way up just to give us the lowdown (or should I say sales speech) on their 2011 kitesurfing range. He brought with him the full board lineup including their new raceboard which apparently “goes upwind like stink, like nothing you’ve ever seen”! There’s some exciting new stuff from North but you’ll have to check back soon as their range isn’t available quite yet – watch this space!

Cool Shoes Anyone?
We’ve just taken delivery of 100′s of jazzy new Cool Shoes – slaps!
New in is their Rasta colour. Perfect, now all you need are braids and a guitar and you’re set to go “jammin’”!
So like I say, we’re fully stocked and have more colourways than you can shake a stick at so grab them while the summer’s still here! See here for our full range.
New Bulldog Products in Stock!
We’ve just received our latest stock of Bulldog gear, including vertical and horizontal wall racks, a changing robe, roof racks and some “Tenacious Tape”!
The two new racks we have allow you to store your boards, windsurfing, kiteboards, snowboards whatever boards you like! You can either store one horizontally if you feel like gorping at your boards, or you can store a couple on the vertical rack to save space. Check the vertical racks out here and the horizontal here.
Our changing robe has to be the first of its kind. In that you can wear it while you change, it keeps you warm and gives a bit of privacy too. Check the robe out here.
The bulldog roof racks are non-inflatable and simply just tie down onto your car – really easy to do. Ideal if you’ve got a wife/girlfriend who doesn’t want to sit in the back of the car! Check them out here.
Finally as dull as it sounds we’ve got some new tape in stock, not just any tape though – “Tenacious Tape”! The tape is different from standard mylar repair tape in that it can be stuck to anything! Not just watersports gear but tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, jackets, rain gear and a whole host of other stuff. The tape leaves no residue either. Ideal for stopping tears. Check it out here.
It’s all new stuff for us and the market so grab them while you can – order up for delivery within a couple of days!

Nobile NHP 2010 now in stock

Nobile NHP Kites now in stock!!!
So we’ve been waiting for these a little longer than we would of liked but there here now and I managed to get a quick hour on the 12m last night before it got dark.
Conditions were far from perfect to be testing a new kite with gusts and loads of holes but I was really impressed.
Pumped the kite up in a hurry as I only had 30 minutes untill sunset which was easy with the single inflation system, ran the lines out which was quick and easy as the 2010 NHP now has a 4 line set up.
Got the G/F to give me a quick launch and then I was straight out into the big swell of South Shields. The kite performed brilliantly in the iffy conditions, always had plenty of power with constant pull but never felt overpowered even in the heavy gusts.
I thought it was quick enough through the sky and manoeuvrable so it could pull me out of trouble when some of the big rollers came through.
My real suprise was the lift, just fired it to the top of the window and a little pop off the water and I was away with some impressive hang time with not too much input.
As I say this was a real quick shot so no real time to try some big tricks or get a massive amout of unhooking on the go but im sure there is plenty more that this kite has to offer.
Anyone interested who would like more info, only too happy to help.

Fusion drysuit

So cold up here this weekend!! Adam is looking forward to trying out the new Fusion Drysuit which looks the biz for winter winds up here.
The Fusion Drysuit 4/3 is a highly innovative new design concept for a drysuit created by ION. It combines the advantages of conventional snug fit Neoprene drysuits and baggy style Nylon fabric drysuits without the inherent weaknesses of these two concepts.
