.Airush Vox 2015 - entry freeride
Smooth, Comfortable, Plug and Play
The VOX has had a new upgrade in its overall design while still remaining a soft, easy to manage freeride board great for riders who are just starting their kiteboarding lifestyle. While the concept remains the same, the VOX has had a change in outline, featuring wider tips, which mean better low end use, stability, and upwind tracking. Not only the outline has changed but the 2015 VOX brings an even lighter design with the same well-known Paulownia wood core that has been used in all of our boards for the best combination of flex and durability.

The AFT Team combines dual Velcro closure, and integrated molde d EVA arms with the legendary AFT Footbed. This provides the perfect balance of comfort and support needed for those endless sessions. The new footstrap component allows riders to quickly adjust the strap, while the double Velcro closure customizes the tension of the front and back of the strap, working in conjunction with the Dual Foam System to adjust to different foot shapes. The refined pad grooving increases the locked in feel of the pad, allowing the foot to centre naturally and improve rider response of the front and back of the strap, working in conjunction with the Dual Foam System to adjust to different foot shapes.

Selecting the right size and stance is extremely important to maximize the performance of your board. If you are riding predominantly boots, it is recommended to use one size up from your normal strapped board. Example: If you use a 135 strap, use a 138 for boots. This will give you the best combination of a stable platform for pop and landings as well as upwind abilities.
Choosing the stance is just as important as selecting the proper size of your board. The width of your stance should be slightly wider than your shoulder width apart. For those who want a lower center of gravity for greater stability on harder landings, a wider stance would be ideal.
