The Rider X boards are all brand new.

The outlines have gone wider and in the case of the 155cm out to 45cm. This will make a great school board but without compromising its performance for more advanced kiters. This board will make a killer light wind board.

2007 FEATURES

• Rocker lines have been changed and the RiderX now features the 4.5 mm concave throughout the bottom with running flats.

• The ABS sidewall in the centre is reduced to 5mm and the tips are foiled out to help with fin flex control. With high performance construction engineering and a high-density core reduced to a minimum save weight and tune in the flex.

The best PU core available for optimum weight to durability combination.

• Torsion Box Technology refined for 07 resulting in lighter boards with better flex/reflex.

New outlines, the widths have increased giving even better early planning in light wind and the boards are far easier to land from after tricks. Carve better, ride waves really well, due to the refined flex/reflex of the construction.

2007 FEATURES

• Bottom shape remains the same as it performs flawlessly. It features a single 4.5mm concave running through the centre of the board throughout it’s length with running flats on either side to promote easy rail to rail transition.

• Gaastra boards have always had constant rocker. This gives unparallel control, comfort and helps with landings as well.

• Visions come with 4/5 mm vertical rails. There is a change for 07 in the tips they are thinner allowing the fins to flex slightly and in thus doing it, they find the path of least resistance resulting in more speed.

• Better grip and more importantly better control in demanding conditions.

• Rails are vertical as before because heel pressure formed on the top edge is transmitted directly to the bottom edge giving far more efficient edging.

Sharp bottom edge gives superior release and great up wind capabilities.

Rockers remain constant and feature the 4.5mm single concave throughout the bottom with riding flats.

2007 FEATURES

• Brand new Torsion Box configuration to really tune the Flex/Reflex.

• 100% performance fiber construction.

• The graphic surface common on almost all other production boards are eliminated and replaced by a unique aluminum fibre that has amazing Flex/Reflex properties.

• The use of aluminum fibre has the other advantage of making the boards much lighter giving vastly improved performance.
