Hand built using pre-impregnated carbon materials and heat cured in an autoclave the FreeWave 75 is a high quality structural laminate at an attainable price level. This mast brings professional levels of performance and feel to the recreational sailor. Incredibly light, with a carbon/glass ratio of 3/1, the quality of the laminate ensures its durability. No boom reinforcement is required, which allows full use of mast extensions with any boom height in order to achieve a perfect mast/sail combination. Recommended for any windsurfing discipline including waves.

Tushingham Pro series 100 mast Ref: 190
100% Carbon and new for the 2006 season this mast combines the exotic weight advantage of a 100% carbon mast with the durability of a lower spec. product. The upper half is incredibly light but the base has been strengthened with the introduction of intermediate modulus carbon fibres with additional woven reinforcements. This mast is obviously great for the racer, but its use extends far beyond that. As a super-light mast it feels fantastic whatever your level of windsurfing ability. It's a very strong mast (providing it is not abused - see care details supplied with mast) and it's suitable for all disciplines, except wave and extreme freestyle use. It's particularly good in larger sails, making those big early planers feel like throw-about freeride rigs. Recommended for freeride, slalom and racing.

Tushingham Ultra Pro RDM 100 mast Ref: 246
This mast is special! Based on the Pro Series 100, with added ceramic reinforcements down the sides, which make this mast 20% stiffer sideways than in the fore and aft direction. The IMCS stiffness remains the same, as does the compatibility with a given sail, but the extra sideways stiffness has a big effect on the way the rig works. When a gust hits, the mast is free to flex fore and aft in the normal way, but energy is not lost as a result of inefficient sideways movement at the mast tip. This translates directly into extra performance, more 'squirt' from every gust, there's a visible difference and a direct increase in acceleration. Currently not allowed for course racing the Ultra is the first choice for speed or slalom where the regulations permit!

Tushingham RD Wave 100 Ref: 159
Reduced diameter masts are often the first choice for wave and big action sailors. Their narrow diameter and thicker walled configuration makes them stronger than an equivalent standard diameter mast. Many sailors prefer the feel of a skinny mast in transitions where its narrow diameter makes it easier to grip. The RD Wave uses 100% carbon fibres and is built to the same specification as the latest Pro Series 100, with Kevlar woven reinforcement at the base and in the boom area. The narrower diameter of the lower part of the mast has a significant effect on how it will match the sail's luff curve. We've made a corresponding adjustment to the mast's bend curve, in order to achieve a perfect fit with conventionally cut sails. Recommended for hard use in all Wave, Freestyle and High Wind sails.
