Manageable power and upwind ability. Best suited to onshore and less than ideal wave sailing conditions.

It has the most shaping and the least rotated profile of all the pryde wave sails, so generating the most power of the range. the Alpha is low aspect which focuses the sails power around the rider. Compared to the Combat and Zone, the alpha has improved upwind performance, more lift and delivers constant power.

Lightweight, soft in the hands with good bottom end performance and solid upwind ability.

The rotated sail body allows instant during riding and manoevres. Moderate shape minimises @sailing weight'.

Compared to the Zone, the sail has a similar aspect ratio, increased luff curve and more shaping which delivers more power.

Designed for classic 'down the line conditions' The softness of the Zone makes it easy to pump onto the plane, get throught the holes and to exicute aerials and manouevres.. For 2008 the draft is further forward giving a more neutral feel on the wave or in the air. It has almost no back hand pressure so that you can manouevre quickly.

The Zone also has a large window so that you can see the critical section of the wave..

The Zone has the least and most forward orientated shaping of any Neil Pryde wave sail.

A moderate aspect ratio and low centtre of effort locates the power near to the rider.

For 2008 a rreduction in luff curve and downhaul translates into less surface tension, allowing a quicker change between drive and neutral.

Light powerfull and manoeuvreable, this is a crossover sail for those who windsurf predominantly flat water freestyle but still want the versatility to use in waves should the opportunity arise. With pronounced forwaard orientated shaping, a new lower aspect outline, this sail delivers a combination of power and control when you need it most.

Produces the most lift of all the crossover battened sails

Low overall surface tension and moderately rotated body, it is neutral during manoeuvres

Light but strong construction makes it durable but lightweight.

For 2008 sees less downhaul tension, allowing the sail to change mode from 'drive to neutral 'quickly.

The V6 is light in the hands but has a lot of drive so it gets onto the plane really quickly to give you that great flatwater sailing feeling. the intercams allow for a naarower sleeve making it easy to waterstart and help the sail to retain shape and be rreally stable. Lightweight, easy to use

A wide wind range with favoured performance in the low end, the Solo is a no cam that handles smoothly in the gybes and has a softer feel than the V6 and V8. It is the recreational sail and is great for intermediates just getting onto a plane, in the footstraps and learning to gybe.
