The CD Wave is RRD's completely new wave shape for 2008.

It is positioned in between a pure wave board and a freestyle wave in terms of shape. The board comes in one size only and is designed to make the most of light wind or onshore wave days.

The construction is a custom made full sandwich of Blaxial Glass, Wood and Technora

NB: There a limited worldwide production run of 100 boards

The Freestyle Wave is the allround board in the range. They have proven very popular in the last few years for their agility and speed in both waves and flat water.

There are 8 boards in the range, design tuned from the wave orientated 80 to the freemove orientated 115.

This year the boards have been shortened and given rounder outlines, providing more manoeverability and control. The noses and tails have been narrowed, making them feel better underfoot on the wave. The whole range features double concaves, making them fast and controllable in harder conditions.

A board for cruising in the break, jumping and wave riding but also a little freestyle and blasting on flat water.

Available in two constructions, Carbon Kevlar or Glass Wood

Improved from last year's model, the 2008 Wave Cult LTD has a great mix of speed, manoeverability and early

The design is a cross between a fish wide style wave board and a regular narrow design. Good in the lulls, stacks of vee for wave riding, slicing through chop and each size carries a good wind range and sail size. The deck profile is improved from last year with the heel bumpers inside the deck rather than on top.

RRD Hardcore Wave

This is the board that you want under your feet when it gets really gnarly. The classic wave shape cuts through the chop and remains in control both on the water and in the air.

You will not find a production board with a thinner tail - typical of state of the art custom wave boards. The thin tail keeps the board in shape when dropping into big waves, but it also makes it less bumpy when blasting in a high wind.

The 2008 board provides more stretched and narrower outlines, tails and noses, giving the boards even more high wind control over last year's models.

The boards feature a full double concave inside a full single concave rail to rail configuration giving them amazing grip when bottom turning in any size of surf.

The 2008 Twin Tip is RRD's dedicated Freestyle machine. If spocks, grubbies, 360s, flakas and cana bravas are your thing then you need this board.

There are 3 boards in the range. The 90 is the high wind freestyle board, the 100 is for medium winds and the 110 is for planing freestyle in very light winds.

The boards have been developed from last year's models and are faster to plane due to smaller spock tails. They have higher top speeds because of the faster rocker lines and the entire range features a full double concave that makes them easier to ride in choppy water.

All the boards are supplied with Maui Fin Company freestyle fins.
