Bar Overview

These kitebars have been converted from C kite bars into hybrid bars, to make them very cost effective alternatives should your original bar system have been lost.

Geometry and how they work

The line setups on these bars have been setup to the industry standard for most commom kite makes; On full power (so that the adjuster strap is set to full power and the chicken loop is pulled to the bar) all 5 lines are equal. This is an industry standard and enables lines from one brand of kite to easily fly another.

The other factor in swapping bars between one kite and another is the chicken line length, for some kites have a very long bar throw from full power to full depower and other kites have a very short throw. This bar is set up to have approximately 80cm of bar throw. This length can be easily adjusted by shortening the bar throw, and then shortening the back lines on the adjusters in seconds if you wish to have less throw.
